We are a choir that is part of a national movement of choirs under the With One Voice banner. Our mission is to create better mental health and wellbeing through singing and social connection. We are an all inclusive (no audition) choir that meets weekly to sing and enjoy each other’s company. We have a wonderful conductor who makes us feel comfortable and confident even though many of us have never sung before. We are always excited to perform at the Blackheath Choir Festival! Thanks for having us.

Heartfelt folk and pop songs accompanied on guitar
facebook
WomanSong began 12 years ago at the Women’s Cottage in Richmond. After a couple of years, we moved into the wider community and continued to offer a safe place for women who love to sing. We sing folk, pop and freedom songs, all designed to lift our spirits while sharing joy, and creating community with those around us. We have a sponsorship program to ensure that money is never a barrier for anyone to enjoy the powerful benefits of community singing. Our motto is Laugh, Sing, Belong…and that’s what we do!
