Registration
Choristers no longer need to register individually on arrival in Blackheath, attendance will be confirmed by your choir organiser at your rehearsal.
Festival Chorus
This year’s Festival Chorus will be led by Rowen Fox, a local conductor, composer and singer. Individuals can register to sing in the Festival Chorus whether or not you are also performing with a choir this year. A separate webpage will be launched once we have the repertoire and singing resources available.
Tickets
Audience
If you are not a member of a choir singing at the 2026 Blackheath Choir Festival you need to purchase an audience ticket. Click on the 2026 Program & Tickets webpage for your ticket purchases.
Choristers
Choristers in choirs participating in this year’s Festival receive a 50% discount off the normal $30 ticket prices. We are also trialing a $60 weekend chorister ticket for all concerts in Phillips Hall (the SHiNDiG is not included in this ticket). There are also three free concerts in this year’s program. Tickets will become available soon.
If seats are free you can sit in the chorister area during the session you are singing in for free. You can purchase a discounted ticket for that session if you wish to sit as an audience member when you are not singing.
You can purchase at most one ticket per session for yourself and the tickets are not transferable. You will need to enter the choir name you are singing with at the 2024 Blackheath Choir Festival. Please do not purchase a chorister ticket for your partner or friend, that is not in the spirit of this discount.
From 01 May tickets can also be purchased Monday to Friday from Richardson & Wrench, corner of Wentworth St and Govetts Leap Rd, Blackheath, or during the Festival from the Box Office in Phillips Hall (unless sold out).
Message to MDs and/or choir contacts: If you wish to purchase a number of chorister tickets for the same session contact us directly (info@blackheathchoirfestival.org). We can arrange that they be posted to you, or you can pick them up from the Festival box office in the Uniting Church foyer.
Our online ticket agency, Humanitix, donates 100% of profits from ticket booking fees to charity; in 2023 alone this amounted to almost four million dollars world wide. The online fee adds (50 cents + 2.5%) per ticket, so for example a purchase of 2 tickets to the value $20 would cost you $21.50 online.
Note that all ticket prices shown to buyers on Humanitix will be inclusive of fees. The actual ticket price and the fee are shown throughout the checkout process.
