Strike A Chord 2026
Strike A Chord 2026 is Musica Viva Australia’s national chamber music program for school students, inspiring the joy of making music with friends while building real performance skills. Ensembles of voice and/or instruments are warmly encouraged to enter, with categories for developing and advanced groups of 3–8 musicians up to Year 12.
Alongside the national competition, Strike A Chord offers free coaching workshops, with professional mentors visiting participating ensembles for expert guidance. Cash and development awards are offered at every level of the competition, and every group receives feedback from an expert panel of musicians and educators.
