Tickets now available
Stop Press. Saturday 17 August – some concerts will soon show as sold out. A few tickets may become available at the concert venue before the concert starts, as at this stage we are unsure of how many pews will be in use during the festival.
Blue Mountains City Council recently introduced paid parking in and close to the shopping area of Blackheath, including around the Uniting Church. As a way to get to the festival you might instead consider using:
- Trip Planner | transportnsw.info for those coming from Sydney, or
- Trip Planner | transportnsw.info/regional for those coming from regional NSW
Choristers
If you’re a chorister in the Festival Chorus or in one of the choirs singing at the 2024 Blackheath Choir Festival you are entitled to a different discount. Click on the INFORMATION FOR CHORISTERS webpage for your ticket purchases.
Audience
Tickets are normally $30 (Phillips Hall concerts), $20 (Presbyterian Church concerts and $15 (SHiNGiG at the Blackheath Golf Club). However, for the 2024 Festival we are discounting all audience tickets for concerts by $5:
- Tickets for two-hour concerts with 5 choirs: DISCOUNTED PRICE $25.
- Tickets for one-hour concerts with 3 choirs: DISCOUNTED PRICE $15.
- Tickets for the SHiNDiG in the Blackheath Golf Club: $15.
- Session 2 and Session 9 in Gardners Inn are both free events.
Children
We are happy to give discounted tickets ($10/$5) for school aged children. Please email me directly [coordinator@blackheathchoirfestival.org] with number(s) and session(s). You will need to pick the tickets up from the Box Office in the Uniting Church (or at the Presbyterian Church if a Sunday).
Tickets can also be purchased Monday to Friday from Richardson & Wrench, corner of Wentworth St and Govetts Leap Rd, Blackheath, or during the Festival from the Box Office in the Uniting Church (unless sold out).
Our online ticket agency, Humanitix, donates 100% of profits from ticket booking fees to charity; in 2023 alone this amounted to almost four million dollars world wide. The online fee adds (50 cents + 2.5%) per ticket, so for example a purchase of 2 tickets to the value $40 would cost you $42 online.
Note that from 13 Aug 2024 all ticket prices shown to buyers on Humanitix will be inclusive of fees. The actual ticket price and the fee are shown throughout the checkout process.
