SECTION 1. YOUR CHOIR

In this section, please enter the choir name, the likely number of singers, where you are based (location), your choir’s website and/or Facebook address. For the number of singers, enter the likely maximum number you anticipate singing (eg enter 25 instead of 20-25). This can be changed at any time but helps with programming.

Requirement(required)
Warning

Be more specific if necessary, or enter none if not required.

Warning

Does your proposed music have any content that might be considered unsuitable for performance in a church or unsuitable for children? (This is a programming consideration only.)

Warning

SECTION 5. AVAILABILITY

Please indicate all times your choir is available over the weekend; the more flexible your choir is the more chance you have of selection. Also remember that the two-hour concerts in the Phillips Hall are generally for large choirs and that the acoustics in the Presbyterian Church are very good. If you are unfamiliar with our programming, all choirs are given at least 40 minutes for warming up before performing, so take that into account when indicating availability.

Availability(required)
Warning

You can provide specific information below (eg times your MD is unavailable), again enter none if not required.

Warning

SECTION 6. PROGRAM NOTES

Provide approximately 200 words about your choir for the website and other publicity. See the 2024 choirs webpage for examples of choir descriptions. Please don’t use a carriage return in your description.

Note that most choirs provide a photo of their choir once selected to participate.

Warning

SECTION 7. RECORDINGS

We will be photographing performances for our archives and for future publicity. Photos will be available to you soon after. We generally do not make audio recordings.

The public may also wish to take photos of your choir during your performance; we will request no flash photography, and video recording by the public only with your consent.

Please indicate your consent (or otherwise) for the public to take photos. If you do not give consent that advice will be announced during the concert.
